Darwin Presbyterian Church is an outreach of the Presbyterian Inland Mission. This Mission was started in 1912 (as the Australian Inland Mission) by Rev Dr John Flynn.

Presbyterian Churches from throughout Australia pray for and support the work of this new congregation. The Melton Presbyterian Church (Vic) has made a significant contribution by sending Rob Duncanson to be our Pastor and financially supporting the work for the first six months of 2007.

During that first six months the Presbyterian Inland Mission appointed Rob to the permanent position of Pastor of this church.

The congregation has been delighted to welcome many visitors from all over Australia and some from overseas as well - especially during the Dry Season. It is a tangible reminder that we have a genuine unity in the Lord Jesus Christ.
